The Cavs are facing adversity.

LeBron didn’t want to admit it after Game 1 but the Cavs are now facing adversity. Despite what myself and many others thought before the series, the Pacers have a real shot at winning this series.

The series isn’t over by any stretch but things aren’t looking good right now.

With that said, there are reasons to believe the Cavs can turn it around. If the defense keeps playing like this and the Cavs shoot their regular season average from three they will win this series.

Unlike previous years, we don’t know how this team is going to respond to adversity. The Cavs have always played their best when facing adversity the last three years, but this is a different team.

Growing pains like this could be beneficial for the Cavs in the long-run. They will learn from this experience and hopefully be better because of it. But, that’s only if they respond well and comeback this series.

We know that LeBron will bring his best the rest of the series, but he can’t do everything by himself. Kevin Love and everyone else needs to step up.

We’ll see if Love and the rest of the Cavs step up for Game 4 Sunday night. Game 4 isn’t technically a “must-win” but this team can’t afford to go down 3-1. I guess we’ll see how they respond to adversity.
