Cleveland Cavaliers: Lessons from a huge three-point Game 2 victory
The Cleveland Cavaliers bounced back from a tough loss with a 100-97 win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 2.
The Cleveland Cavaliers jumped on the Pacers early as they opened up the game with an early 18 point lead in the first quarter. Indiana fought was and were an open Victor Oladipo three away from tying the game and sending it into overtime.
LeBron James came out firing putting up 20 of his 46 points in the first quarter. He finished the night with 12 rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
James didn’t get much help from his teammates. Kevin Love and Kyle Korver were the only other Cavaliers to finish in double figures. Love finished with 15 points and eight boards. Korver added in 12 points on four of eight shooting from distance.
Love suffered a partially torn ligament in his thumb in the fourth quarter. The x-rays came back negative, and he is expected to be ready for Game 3 on Friday.
