LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers got back on the right track with a decisive 118-105 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Cleveland Cavaliers’ superstar LeBron James was the story of this game once again. Not only did James tie Michael Jordan in most consecutive double-digit scoring games in NBA history, but he also did it in his building.

James finished with an astounding 41 points on 14-of-26 shooting including going four of eight from distance. He also added 10 rebounds, eight assists, and a steal.

The Cavs needed this victory after what happened in Miami. Here’s what we learned from the win.

Lesson No. 1: LeBron continues to dominate Michael Jordan’s team.

James has always saved his best performances for Jordan’s Hornets. With this win, LeBron is now personally 42-6 against the Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets during his career.

James has had some of his best performances against Jordan’s team. He scored his career high 61 points against the then-Bobcats.

Only LeBron knows if playing against Jordan’s team is any extra motivation. But that time he directly stared down Jordan while dunking in Charlotte leads us to believe that he does.

Back to this one. LeBron put on one of his best performances of the season Wednesday night putting up 40 points or more for the third time this season. As he left the floor James was serenaded with MVP chants from fans in Charlotte a day after saying he’d vote for himself as MVP.

That’s not bad for a guy in his fifteenth year in the league.
