In the midst of the madness, many of these players have a few months till their dreams are a reality in the 2018 NBA Draft. Here’s how it might break down.

The first round in the NBA Draft is always full of surprises and can highlight some of the best non-NBA talents the world has to offer. This 2018 NBA Draft, being held in the Barclays Center, will be no different.

The lottery, as usual, will most certainly not disappoint. As for those not in the lottery, they will be hoping to find their own Kyle Kuzma, the Lakers stud drafted No. 27 in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Although the No. 1 overall pick seems already written in stone, the rest of this draft will certainly be up in the air. However, based on team needs and player availability, we’ll be doing our best to break down the field and see exactly what rookies will benefit each team the most. Also, keep in mind that the draft order may change from day-to-day.

As for the Cleveland Cavaliers, they gained the Brooklyn Nets 2018 first-round pick and other spare parts in exchange for Kyrie Irving. With the Nets seemingly a bottom-five Eastern Conference team, the Cavs are almost guaranteed a lottery pick and could even sneak their way up into the top 5.

That said, let’s get back to the draft as a whole and start our breakdown with pick No. 30, Latvian Rodions Kurucs.
