In the next two weeks, Kevin Love will return for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and our most recent KJG episode, we look at how that will impact the Cavs.
On the latest episode of King James Gossip, among other things, we take a deep dive into how Kevin Love’s imminent return will impact the Cleveland Cavaliers. Will his addition be a pleasant one or will it just cause more mayhem in Cleveland?
Along with that, we did many of our King James Gossip usuals. Sadly, we did not have any guests on this episode. That said, let’s go ahead and get into how this episode broke down.
As usual, we got into our recaps to kick it off after introducing ourselves. The Cavs went 2-2 this past week, dropping two games in three days to both LA teams. The Cavs handily beat the Phoenix Suns just like they were supposed to, and they surprisingly got a win in Denver after being outrebounded by 16. That and more analysis is how our recaps went down.

Following that, we moved into our hot topics. Our first hot topic was obviously Kevin Love. He’s potentially returning at the back end of next week. With Love being inserted back into the starting lineup, who goes back to the bench? Listen for that and more findings on the potential rotation.
Our second hot topic is about JR Smith. As many of you know, JR Smith has been benched. After throwing his soup at an assistant and serving his one-game suspension, it didn’t take long for Coach Lue to re-insert Kyle Korver into the starting lineup. Was that a wise move? Should Rodney Hood take that position when he’s healthy?
After that, we got into our Fact or Fiction segment. With four questions headlining this week’s segment, be sure to drop a comment if you got them all correct the first time around.
Lastly, we ended with our 21 Shump Street picks of the week. Four games will be playing in this upcoming week included last night’s game against the Blazers. The Cavs end the week with a game against the Eastern Conference reigning Raptors.
The Cavs have struggled to find an identity since the all-star break, and if it wasn’t for LeBron James, it’d be a much more strenuous time in the Land. However, we have the King, and he’ll be keeping this team in playoff contention until they can learn the sets and build the chemistry needed to make a deep playoff run.
