The Cleveland Cavaliers still have several things to figure out and at the forefront of that list is their rotation and who will both start and play in the final minutes.

In King James Gossip’s thirteenth episode, we welcome back contributor Dan Gilinsky. Along with being re-joined by Dan, we were able to dive into a controversial topic– who should play in clutch time for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have seen success with their retooled roster. Whether it’s sustainable or not is still in question, but either way, this is now the roster that the Cavs have to deal with. There’s no getting away or trading; this is the roster that LeBron James must take to the promise land.King James Gossip Ep. 13: Who will be in the Cleveland Cavaliers playoff rotation?

That said, in the last few minutes, with the game on the line, who do you, as Coach Lue, trust to end the game? The big debate in our podcast is who should join LeBron, Nance, and Love in the last few minutes of the game. Is it Clarkson or Hood that should get the nod? Should Thompson get any consideration with how well Nance has been playing?

Here’s how the breakdown of our show went.

  • As usual, we go over the last week’s games. The Cavaliers went 1-2. We recorded episode 13 before the start of the Cavs most recent game against the Denver Nuggets. The Cavs lost to both the 76ers and Nuggets while beating the Pistons this past week.
  • Following that, we get into our hot topic. Our hot topic revolved around, as previously mentioned, who should start for the Cleveland and who should play for them with the game on the line. That said, leave us your comments on what you think we got right and wrong and who you think should be on the court.
  • Thirdly, we got into “fact or fiction” game. The host, Nathan Beighle, attempts to stump the three other members of the pod, and in this pod, it worked extremely well. Did you get the questions? Because obviously, our co-hosts didn’t!
  • As we end the episode, we go over the upcoming week in Cleveland. With three games all on the West coast, we expect a good week ahead for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Do you think they’ll win all three games too?
