The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to struggle against good teams as they fall to the Denver Nuggets 126-117.

The Cavs defense was bad. There’s no way around that. But, at the same time, the Cavs continue to catch opponents on their best nights. The Nuggets couldn’t miss as they connected on 19 triples shooting 54.3% from distance on the night.

This was one of the most well-rounded games offensively for the new look Cavs. Seven players finished with double-digits in points as the Cavs finished with an offensive rating of 124.2.

LeBron James finished with another triple-double as he led the team with 25 points on eight of 19 shooting. He contributed 15 assists, 10 boards, and two steals in the loss.

The Cavs are still a work in progress. They keep showing stretches of greatness, but they are still far from a finished product.

Larry Nance Jr. can fly.

The Cavs may have lost this game, but it wasn’t because of Nance. He was phenomenal once again finishing with 14 points and eight boards. Nance also finished with a team-best net rating of 24.0 in the 20 minutes he played.

But what we’ll all remember from this game is his dunk on Mason Plumlee.

The bench reaction was exactly what you’d expect as well.

Nance has been phenomenal since coming over from Los Angeles. It will be exciting to see how the Cavs use him in the playoffs.
