The Cleveland Cavaliers, who have struggled throughout the season, might face true adversity in the Eastern Conference this postseason. Is that threat Toronto?
Over the last few years, even in times of doubt, we all knew the Cleveland Cavaliers were the best team in the East by a large margin. Is it now time to start truly doubting the Cavs ability to run these teams over in the postseason?
With special guest Mike Bossetti, we talked about his recent podcast, all things Raptors-Cavs, and if the Raptors are true threats to the Cavs thrown. We also tied in our usual segments. The other main topic we talked about was how the Eastern Conference will pan out.
A little extra conversation led to how the Raptors’ future looks, especially with some young, versatile pieces combined with Kyle Lowry who will be making over $30 million and be 33 years old. That said, it was an interesting pod and we were more than grateful for Mike and his time.

Here’s how the rundown for the pod went.
- As usual, we started the podcast running down the Cavs last few games. The Cavs went 2-2 with a win over the Grizzlies and Nets and losses to the Wizards and Spurs. With several constants in both the wins and the losses, there was quite a bit to go over there.
- Secondly, we talked mainly with Mike. We went into who the Cavs should want to face first round in the playoffs, if Detroit is a viable playoff contender, and if Toronto will keep the No. 1 seed over Boston.
- Following our talk with Mike, we went into how our game segment. With really just two fact or fiction segments, be sure to slide in the comments if you happened to guess both correct.
- Then, we got to go into our two mailbag questions. One was over Coach Lue’s starting lineup and the other was about Smith’s consistent inconsistency.
- As we end the episode, we preview the next week of games. There’s a full slate of games. We recorded it prior to the Philadelphia game, so disregard the result of that.
