It seems like this season for LeBron James has been filled with career milestones. He is at the point of his career where significant achievements will often cross his path.

Here we are again, discussing another milestone LeBron James has accomplished. After Tuesday’s game against the Nets, he has amassed 30,000 career points, 8,000 career rebounds and 8,000 career assists.

No other player has achieved this, therefore resulting in LeBron being in a class of his own. In fact, there hasn’t even been a player who has achieved 25,000 points, 7,000 rebounds and 7,000 assists in their career.

In addition to this, he will finish February averaging a triple-double for the month (26.6 points, 10.5 rebounds, 10.5 assists per game).

It seems just like yesterday we were discussing LeBron becoming the youngest player to reach 30,000 career points. Reaching milestone after milestone seems to be the common theme for him this season.

What’s most impressive about LeBron becoming the youngest player to achieve 30,000 career points is the fact that he isn’t a “scorer”. James himself has said that he’s a pass-first player.

The truth is, although people want him to be a more assertive scorer, it makes sense for James to maximize his ability to facilitate due to his passing ability and extraordinary basketball IQ.

Unfortunately, there will be a day when LeBron will decide — or be forced ” to retire. When that day comes, I believe he will surpass 40,000 career points and finish his career as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

Whether you believe LeBron is the best player to ever play the game of basketball or not, just enjoy watching him while you can.

Regardless if your favorite player is Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan or anyone else, take advantage of the opportunity to watch one of the greatest basketball players of all-time.

Again, enjoy it while you can.

Or don’t. The choice to Witness Greatness is yours.
