In King James Gossip’s 10th episode, we go into detail about the Cleveland Cavaliers recent two-game winning streak and if they are for real.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have a long road to go before they prove to most of the NBA world that this reshaped team is truly as good, if not better than, last season’s team. However, two road wins against Oklahoma City and Boston has certainly started them off on the right foot.

As many of you know, George Hill, Larry Nance Jr., Rodney Hood, and Jordan Clarkson were all brought over pre-trade deadline, and it seems the fit has worked. The fit and the Cavs legitimacy are the main topics of our tenth episode. This episode was recorded pre-dunk contest.

That said, let’s get into a quick rundown of the 30-minute episode.

More from King James Gospel

  • First of all, we recap the last week of Cleveland basketball. There were two huge away wins as previously mentioned. We check out the stats and what really stuck out in those two games.
  • Next, we went into the fit of the new players on the Cavs and how dynamic they make the team. Is it a perfect fit and is Cleveland true title contenders now?
  • Thirdly, we go into who we think should win the dunk contest. We also focus on how team LeBron looks entering all-star weekend and how injuries could make him the underdog.
  • Then, we go into one of our favorite segments, the fact or fiction. With six Cavs trivia questions, it’s almost certain you won’t be able to guess all six correctly.
  • As usual, we close the podcast by previewing the next week of games. There is just one game in the next week, a home game against Washington.

The all-star break should be a good time for the recent additions to get practice time and build comradery.
