Cleveland Cavaliers: Lessons from the Cavs dominant victory over Boston
LeBron is having fun again.
James is at his best when he’s having fun. While he’s shown signs of joy throughout the year, he hasn’t truly been his joyful self throughout much of the year. That seemed to have changed during the game as he ran on the court to celebrate with his new teammates.
James also went out of his way to stare down some of his longtime nemesis after making difficult shot after difficult shot in the second quarter.
LeBron always loves playing in Boston.
It’s been the venue for some of his biggest triumphs and most humbling defeats. Paul Pierce had a large part in many of those defeats. It’s only right that James was able to have an impressive game like he did on Pierce’s jersey retirement ceremony.
This new group will handle adversity. That just comes with playing with LeBron. But this team looks like it’s enjoying playing with each other right now and LeBron is back to being himself. That alone should scare the rest of the league.
