Cleveland Cavaliers: What we learned vs. Atlanta Hawks
It’s been a crazy last 48 hours for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
As the dust settles, it appears that Koby Altman has built a team that is engineered around LeBron James and what he does best. The Cleveland Cavaliers 123-107 win over the Atlanta Hawks is evidence of that.
James carved up Atlanta on his way to another triple-double. He finished with 22 points, 17 assists, and 12 boards. The 17 assists tie a career high for James.
Speaking of career highs, Kyle Korver was just one bucket away from breaking his career high in points in a game. He put up 30 points on seven made threes.
Jeff Green and Cedi Osman had arguably their best games of the year. Green put up 24 points on nine of 16 shooting with four assists. Osman finished with 16 points, six boards, five assists, and three steals.
The Cavs handled their business against the Hawks who are one of the worst teams in the league. However, it’s encouraging to see how much more like a basketball team the Cavaliers looked on Friday night.
Here’s what we learned from the win.
