The Cleveland Cavaliers, just minutes after acquiring Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr., have traded for the Utah Jazz’s Rodney Hood and Sacramento Kings’ George Hill.

After breaking the Cleveland Cavaliers-Los Angeles Lakers deal earlier today, Adrian Wojnarowski was not finished. According to Woj, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be acquiring Rodney Hood from the Utah Jazz and George Hill from the Sacramento Kings in the trade season’s first three-team deal.

According to Woj, Cleveland will send Jae Crowder and Derrick Rose to Utah. They will also send Iman Shumpert to Sacramento. This trade deadline is crazy.

The Cavaliers continue to transform their roster with another huge trade. The Cleveland Cavaliers have now brought in Larry Nance Jr., Jordan Clarkson, George Hill, and Rodney Hood. To update, they have sent away Channing Frye, Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Derrick Rose, and Iman Shumpert.

For Hill, he should be able to slide into the starting point guard role on one of the Eastern Conference’s most prominent forces. Hill is 6-foot-3 and will be a significantly better defensively than Isaiah Thomas, who is now an LA Laker. Hill has averaged 10.3 points per game for the Sacramento Kings.

As for Hood, he’s averaging 16.8 points per game for the Jazz and has proven to be a consistent scorer off the bench. He’s making 2.6 threes per game this season. Hood and Hill will transform the Cavaliers lacking backcourt.

The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to reshape their team with younger, more athletic players that can help James take down Golden State. Whether that is the case or not is still to be determined but this complete reorganization of their roster is proof that this team is trying to give LeBron James what he wants in terms of players.

The Cavaliers continue to make moves. The next couple weeks, especially heading into the postseason will be interesting times in Cleveland.
