The Cleveland Cavaliers have yet to make a move, and the number of targets continues to narrow for the Wine & Gold.

Is there anyone that can save the Cleveland Cavaliers? While that question is still to be determined, one thing is for certain: this team must make a trade.

The Cleveland Cavaliers certainly have one of the NBA’s most talked about dilemmas on their hands. They have assets that they could part with in order to bring in a bigger, better quality player, but most of those players are not the long-term solution Cleveland craves.

If they won’t commit long-term, does that 100% mean the Cavs won’t trade for them? The perfect example is DeAndre Jordan. He’s at the forefront of trade rumors ever since, and even before, his former teammate Blake Griffin was traded.

That said, if the Cavaliers do not end up giving up the Brooklyn Nets’ pick for a player like Jordan, what options do they still have? If the Cavs are doing their best to put together a long-term future, they’ll want players on longer, team-friendly contracts.

While all the rumors certainly aren’t true, there is a handful of them that can be taken with some level of credibility. With that in mind, we’re going to dive into the first of five possible trade partners for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
