The Orlando Magic are 1.5 games ahead of the Hawks in the East. Because of Orlando’s poor season, Fournier could be on the move.

It’s clear to see that the Orlando Magic are really struggling right now. Orlando is (1-9) throughout their last ten games, and have dropped four in a row. While the team isn’t playing very good basketball, Fournier has been balling.

Evan Fournier is having the best season yet out of his five-year career. At the age of 25, Fournier is averaging  17.9 points, shooting 46.2% from the field and 40.5% from three. Since his rookie season, Fournier’s number have increased every single year.

Fournier is by far a better shooter than both Smith and Shumpert, and arguably more consistent than Kyle Korver. Having a shooting guard like Fournier on a team with play-makers like LeBron James, Isaiah Thomas, and Dwyane Wade could be lethal.

Fournier is in the second year of his 5-year, $85 million contract. While teams are targeting the availability of Fournier, Orlando hasn’t stated whether they would consider trading him or not. If they do, however, Cleveland should aggressively pursue him. The Pistons are one of the teams already pursuing him.
