LeBron James explodes versus the Washington Wizards

The highest scoring game of 2017 came from none other than LeBron James. The Cavaliers faced the Washington Wizards on November 11th, 2017. James was red-hot from the tipoff in this game. It seemed like James couldn’t miss a shot, shooting a very efficient 67 percent from the field. James also shot 50 percent from the three-point line and made all nine of his free throw attempts. In addition to his 57 points, James grabbed 11 rebound, dished out seven assists, had three steals and two blocks.

The 57 points James scored tied the franchise record which was previously set by Kyrie Irving. This total is also the fourth most points ever scored in a single game by any player over the age of 32. The only players who have topped James are Kobe Bryant (Scored 60 points at age 37) and Wilt Chamberlain (Scored 66 and 60 points at age 32!).

This game broke the Cavaliers four-game losing streak and reminded everyone who the best player on the planet is. James made a statement in this game, not only to the Wizards but to the entire league as well. This performance by the king was his way of letting the league know that he isn’t getting off the throne anytime soon.
