It’s time to look back at what has been an interesting year for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It’s tough to determine whether or not 2017 was a good year or a bad year for the Cleveland Cavaliers. While the team experienced a great deal of success, the Cavs also dealt with a number of failures and a ton of controversy.

On one hand, the Cavaliers had a dominant post-season run, capped off with a trip to their third straight NBA Finals. The playoffs were filled with dominant performances by both LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. Then, in the offseason, the Cavaliers picked up big name free agents such as Dwyane Wade and Derrick Rose. The Cavs appeared to be ready for another deep playoff run with these new additions.

Unfortunately, as we all know, 2017 was not a perfect year for Cleveland. First, the Cavaliers were beaten in the NBA Finals. Next, Kyrie Irving announced that he wanted to be traded away from the team. This news broke the hearts of Cleveland fans everywhere. Questions began swirling around the team, many people assuming James was the reason for Irving’s departure. This controversy haunted the Cavaliers all the way until the start of the 2017-18 NBA regular season.

However, regardless of any issue that has come up this past year, there has never been a better time than right now to be a Cavs fan. This past year was one of the best years in franchise history. Today, we are going to reminisce about five of our favorite moments from 2017.
