In King James Gossip’s second podcast, we go in-depth on if the Cleveland Cavaliers can beat the Golden State Warriors with TT and JR.

This past week was a thrilling week for the Cleveland Cavaliers. With only two games, the Cavs went 1-1 with a win over the Bulls and the Christmas Day loss to the Warriors. At the time of the recording, the result to the Kings-Cavs was still to be determined.

This podcast featured King James Gospel writer Dan Gilinsky. This was the second episode of King James Gossip, and Dan was our first guest. In this episode, we went over an array of topics that were present this last week.

The rundown went as follows:

More from King James Gospel

  • We started as usual with our game recaps, going over the Bulls victory but mainly the Christmas Day loss. We veered a bit into the two-minute report and the impact that it had on the game.
  • Following the recaps, we shifted into our first hot topic– are the Raptors any threat to the Cavs in the East. The Raptors have been a tear through the East and have won quite a bit in a row, so the question is certainly one to ponder.
  • From there, we went into our second hot topic, and it’s what to do with JR Smith and Tristan Thompson if they are unplayable against the Golden State Warriors. If our main goal is to beat Golden State, how do they play into it or do they need to go?
  • We shifted into our game segment. We asked a “what are the odds” question and a “would you rather”question-related to the Cavs.
  • This week we didn’t have any mailbag questions, so we skipped over that segment that would usually be in right after our would you rather segment. Let us know if you have questions/topics that we should cover!
  • We ended the episode with our 21 Shump Street picks of the week.

That’s it. There were some technical difficulties throughout, but we got that all taken care of. Like usual, let us know how you liked it. It is just our second episode, and we are always striving to give the best content we can.

See you next week!
