No. 6: Kyle Korver

Team rank: 6th in ppg, 11th in rebounds per game, 10th in assists per game

Slash line: .473/ .446/ .857

Kyle Korver has been one of the most valuable assets for the Cavaliers this season. He, by far, has the team’s best +/- at 7.1, even ahead of LeBron James, who has just a 3.3. He also averages 2.6 threes per game which is the most on the team.

His late-game shooting has saved the Cavs on many occasions. He is the team’s second-leading scorer in the fourth quarter, scoring 4.1 points per game in the final quarter. He also plays extremely well next to the Cavs’ superstar, LeBron James. James and Korver are a dynamic duo in the fourth quarter. They have the second-best two-man net rating, only beating the duo of Wade and James.

Overall, Korver has been a key part of the Cavaliers second unit success. As for long-term, Korver signed a deal keeping him in Cleveland for the next two seasons following this one.

Korver’s success has been a pleasant surprise for the Cavs, and I’d expect to see more of his fourth-quarter heroics in the future.
