No. 2: Kevin Love

Team rank: 2nd in ppg, 1st in rebounds per game, 4th in assists per game

Slash line: .466/ .384/ .869

Kevin Love has been a straight best this season.

He’s leading the team in rebounds and scoring the most points per game throughout his three-year stay in Cleveland. Love is averaging 19.4 points per game and 10.5 rebounds. Love has made 2.0 threes per game this season which is the third most of his career, including four or more triples in four of the Cavs last nine games.

Love has been posting these numbers while in a new role with the Cavs. After adding Jae Crowder, head coach Tyronn Lue opted to make Kevin Love the starting center, and he has not disappointed. Love can guard other centers due to his 6-foot-10, 250-pound frame, and he causes mismatches all over the court offensively.

Overall, Love was asked to fill part of the hole left by Kyrie Irving, and he has done exactly that. Without a couple of Love’s fantastic performances, the Cavs might not have had their 13-game win streak earlier this season.
