The Cleveland Cavaliers pulled out their third straight win with a 121-112 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Cvs have now won 16 of their last 17 games.

LeBron James once again led the Cavs to the victory. He notched his 59th triple-double with 25 points, 12 assists, and 12 rebounds.

Kevin Love had another solid outing with 28 points, 12 boards, 2 steals, and a block. Love had an efficient night going 9 of 15 from the field including shooting 4 of 6 from distance.

The Cavs didn’t play well defensively, but their shooting bailed them out in the end. Here’s what we learned from the win.

Lesson #1: Jose Calderon can still catch fire from three.

Calderon has been known as a good three-pointer shooter throughout his career. He was once a member of the 50-40-90 club and boasts a career three-point percentage of 41.0%.

Calderon showed that he can still he can still catch fire from deep by going 5 of 8 from behind the arc. He finished with 17 points and 6 assists in the win. Calderon is now shooting 51.4% from three on the year.

Calderon isn’t asked to score like this night-in and night-out. It’s a luxury to have a professional on the bench that can provide consistent play and the occasional shot from deep.
