The Cleveland Cavaliers picked up another victory with a 123-114 win over the Atlanta Hawks. The Cavs have now won 15 of their last 16 games.
LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were phenomenal against the Hawks. LeBron James tied his career-high for assists in a game with 17 on Tuesday night. Besides 17 assists, he put up 25 points on 11 of 13 shooting with 7 boards.
Cleveland’s bench was impressive once again even without Dwyane Wade who missed the game due to left knee soreness. The bench put up 51 points. Nineteen of those points came from Kyle Korver who was six of nine from behind the arc. Jeff Green also had a sensational night putting up 17 points of his own.
The final score isn’t indicative of how dominant a game this was for the Cavs. Cleveland controlled both ends of the floor from start to end. The Cavaliers were up early and by a good chunk. They managed to hold a 20+ point lead for quite some time before letting off the gas.
That said, here’s what we learned from the win.
