With the trade deadline still ways away and many teams starting off rather disappointing, it’s time to take a look at some realistic trade scenarios, for the Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers have started off the season rather underwhelming at 12-7. Injuries, defensive insufficiencies, and obvious signs of age and attrition have been the leading causes of their defeats. This, coupled in with the fact that LeBron has already played such heavy minutes early into the season, a deep playoff run could be in jeopardy.

Other teams like the: Grizzlies, Thunder, Clippers, Wizards, and Hornets have all done much worse than they were projected to do as well, which leads me to construct realistic trade scenarios that can benefit both, the Cavaliers, and some of the teams around the league.

Stars like Anthony Davis, John Wall, and Kemba Walker are all generally speaking off limits. However, the Cavaliers do have quality players, quality future assets, and an array of different needs moving forward. Cedi Osman and Ante Zizic were two young, skilled players that might excel when given playing time, and if coupled with the Brooklyn Nets’ 2018 pick or the Cavs’ future first-round pick, they could possibly bring in a fourth star to help bring the Cavs their second title.

The Cavaliers, while LeBron James is still the best player in the league, have one goal: reach and win the Finals. Getting there for a fourth straight season will not be good enough. A trade must enhance their chances at a title, and if Koby Altman has proven anything, it is that he will get the best deal possible.

Here are four deal he should consider.
