It’s no secret that the Cleveland Cavaliers haven’t started this season exactly how they wanted to.

After beginning the year 2-0, things quickly began going wrong for this team. So many different problems began bothering the Cleveland Cavaliers.

For starters, Derrick Rose fell down with an ankle injury during game two. This sidelined Rose for an entire week, leaving the Cavs lost without a solid option at point guard. The Cavs tried starting Jose Calderon, Iman Shumpert, and even a two-game experiment in which LeBron James was running the point.

Fortunately, Rose is back in the lineup now. However, the problems within this team are still not fixed. The team has lost four straight games and is currently sitting at a 3-5 record. While the season is still relatively young, some have been pressing the panic button in Cleveland. Everyone is searching for a way to fix this teams problems. Well, the key to saving the season might be within Isaiah Thomas.

Thomas was acquired in the Kyrie Irving trade this offseason. Due to a hip injury, Thomas has not been able to play in a single game yet. While Thomas may not return until late January, there are some strong reasons to think he can fix a few of the Cavaliers worse problems. We are going to take a look at some of these issues and see how Thomas can become the solution.
