The Cleveland Cavaliers looked awful for the second straight night with a 114-95 loss to the New York Knicks.

Like the last couple games, everything that could go wrong did go wrong. The Cleveland Cavaliers started out slow and it came back to bite them once again.

None of the Cavs had great games. Kevin Love led the team in scoring with 22 points on 33% shooting. LeBron James contributed 16 points, 7 assists, and 10 boards. While not too impressive, JR Smith’s 3-for-9 is actually much better than he has shot over the last couple games. Unlike the others, Korver was efficient tonight. He was 3-for-5 from deep and made timely threes en route to his 11 points.

As for the Knicks, Tim Hardaway Jr. continues to destroy the Cavs. He finished with 34 points on 11-of-19 shooting and 8 assists. Kristaps Porzingis added 32 points and 12 boards. Outside of those two, Enes Kanter and Courtney Lee combined for 33 points and each shot over 50% from the field.

The scoreboard shows a 19-point differential, but this game was truly lost in the last six minutes. This is another game that the Cavaliers slowly let slip away from their grasp.

It has been a rough week for the Cavs, losing their second third straight game. Here’s what we learned from the loss.
