The Brooklyn Nets took it to the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 112-107 win.

The Nets got the win without arguably their best player D’Angelo Russell. The Cleveland Cavaliers didn’t play good defense and it came back to bite them for the second time in the last three games. With the loss, the Cavs devalued the first round pick they’re getting from Brooklyn.

LeBron James was fantastic at point guard for the second straight game. He finished with 29 points, 13 assists, 10 boards, and his first triple-double of the season. James did everything but hit two late free throws that would’ve tied the game late.

The starters besides James were awful. The other starters combined for 25 points on 30.7% shooting. Kyle Korver and Jeff Green were solid off the bench once again. Korver finished with 22 points on 8 of 14 shooting. Green added 18 points, 6 boards, and 3 assists.

It was a total team effort for the depleted Nets’ roster. Spencer Dinwiddie led Brooklyn with 22 points, 6 assists, and 5 boards. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson contributed 19 points. DeMarre Carroll and Allen Crabbe both finished with 18 points. The stat of the night for Brooklyn was their three-point shooting. They shot 46 threes and converted on 37.0% of them.

Here’s what we learned from the Cavs’ loss.
