LeBron James, who is entering his fifteenth season, was put on the Undefeated’s updated list of the top 50 greatest players in NBA history.

The Undefeated, a site that is managed and owned by ESPN, released an updated list of its top 50 greatest basketball players of all time. LeBron James, who might go down as the best player to ever play, made the updated list.

They said this regarding the talented James:

"He is simply the greatest preps-to-pros player, edging out Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett and Moses Malone. He’s been to more NBA Finals than Michael Jordan (8 vs. 6) and had less of a roster in at least three of those Finals (bless Boobie Gibson’s heart in 2007). He can play any position on the court at any time and still puts dimes on his teammate’s palms at 32. When God decided to make the perfect basketball player, he made M.J. When he decided on an upgrade, he made ’Bron."

James, who is often scrutinized for his team’s lack of success in the NBA Finals, has collected a wide array of personal awards. He is a 4x MVP and has been to thirteen All-Star games in his illustrious fifteen-year career. What makes James’ even more dynamic is that in his fifteenth season, he might be at the best of his career. He averaged career-highs in assists and rebounds last season and looks to be just as dominant through three games this season.

James, who has also been a civil rights voice, has enhanced and enriched Cleveland. This past season, James also was a more notable award, the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award. First and foremost, James is an incredible basketball player, but he should also be known for what he has done around his community and for the entire city of Cleveland.

As for the list, James was not the only current (or recently retired) player to make the list. Jason Kidd, Ray Allen, Dwyane Wade, Allen Iverson, Reggie Miller,  Kevin Durant, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Tim Duncan, Steph Curry, Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, and Kobe Bryant were the only players added to the list. The list was made in 1996-1997, and this was the first update since then.
