Love can be a facilitator.

One of the encouraging parts of the Cavs’ offense so far has been Love’s usage in the high and low post. Giving him the ball in those positions allows for cutters and shooters to get open around him. As a result, Love found LeBron multiple times on backdoor cuts.

We still don’t know what a flagrant foul is.

Rose was grabbed above the shoulder and taken out of the air by Greg Monroe in the second half. As a result, Rose sprained his left ankle and isn’t expected to play on Saturday. After the game, he told reporters, “I’m the only person in the league that’s not get a flagrant for that call.” While that might be an exaggeration, it’s certainly puzzling that the referees didn’t give a flagrant foul to Monroe because of the contact around the neck. The gray area in the rule has led to inconsistencies like this throughout the years. Rose exited the game with 12 points on 3-of-4 shooting.

Antetokounmpo is the latest victim of a LeBron chase-down block.

Antetokounmpo thought that he had an easy layup in the restricted area, but James had other ideas. Antetokounmpo may be the future of the league, but this was James’ way of telling the Greek Freak that it isn’t his league yet. LeBron is still on the throne, and this was his way of protecting it.
