In the trade with the Boston Celtics that sent Irving to Boston, the Cleveland Cavaliers in the trade acquired a $5.8M trade exception, actually $5,811,114.00 to be exact. It does not expire until next summer.

Here are the top five potential targets who could fit with this Cleveland Cavaliers’ team.

5.) Noah Vonleh (POR) — $3,505,233

The Cavs need another energy guy off the bench beside Tristan Thompson and J.R. Smith. Noah Vonleh from the Portland Trail Blazers does exactly that. Vonleh is a banger down low and an underrated defender. The Cavs need another forward off the bench to help lessen the load for Thompson.

Vonleh is a great roller to the rim in pick and roll situations. He has an excellent outside jumper from the elbow’s that can space the floor for the Cavaliers bench. The Blazers are a top-heavy team, and I am sure they would love to unload some contracts, including guys who have only one-year deals, like Vonleh.

His stats may not pop out, but he does a lot that does not show in the box score. For his career, Vonleh is averaging 4.4 rebounds, 3.9 points, 0.4 blocks, 0.4 assists and 0.3 steals per game.

In the next video here, you can see the type of blocker Vonleh is.

Here are the top ten plays from Vonleh from last season.
