5 players LeBron James would select if he was given the No. 1 pick in the All-Star game draft
Target #2: The Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo
The Eastern Conference certainly lacks stars compared to the Western Conference, but they do have a special talent in Giannis Antetokounmpo.
If James is looking to put together the most exciting roster, he would certainly have to go with Giannis as the No. 1 overall pick. The Alphabet, as he is also known, is a 6-foot-11 point guard that can play the one through four positions with relative ease. In his first season, Giannis scored only 10.0 points per game but has increased that to over 23 last season.
His unique body allows him to defend and shut down opponent’s passing lanes like no other player can. Giannis has a solid offensive rating of 116 last season and a handful of highlight dunks which can be seen below.
James’ relationship to the Greek Freak is unknown, and if James bases his pick off his prior relationship, Giannis might not be as high in the running. But, James and Giannis could make this All-Star game actually worth watching if they were to team up.
