After the Dwyane Wade signing, the Cleveland Cavaliers are now pinned in an interesting situation that could lead to the trading one of their role players.

It might just be a matter of time before another big move is made in Cleveland. In an earlier article, I displayed the options of the noteworthy move that could be on the horizon for this championship-caliber Cleveland Cavaliers squad.

The crossroads facing the Cavaliers is quite simple actually. With the signing of Dwyane Wade, it seems they must eventually cut one of the free agents they signed this summer or veteran Richard Jefferson. But, they can get out of that situation by trading away a player for future assets, and the teams have been calling.

The two obvious choices to be moved are Channing Frye and Iman Shumpert since they both make double what the Turkish star, Cedi Osman, makes. The Cavaliers have several expiring contracts this summer, and Channing Frye is one of them. Shumpert is under contract for two more seasons, and he would be the preferred player to trade since the Cavaliers will be trying to create as much cap room as possible for the star-studded 2018 offseason.

While they might not get the deal they are looking for, in the long haul, gaining even a little more assets in the future for a player that might not play much would be worth it. That said, here are some potential deals the Cavaliers, if proposed, should at least consider.
