Goal #1: Become an All-NBA team member
The two seasons that Love snatched a couple MVP shares were the same couple seasons that he landed his name on the All-NBA second team. Being on the first team is incredibly hard to do, but personally, I’d even settle for Love to be a third team candidate.
This is the ultimate goal for Love this upcoming season. Even if his Cavaliers lose in the Finals for the third time to the Warriors, Love will be able to call the season a personal accomplishment if he lands his name on that list for the third time. Draymond Green was the forward on the third team, so Love’s season will have to topple his Warrior nemesis’.
According to Bleacher Report, the Cavaliers have no interest at this time in shipping Kevin Love. Those rumors, this year, won’t be surrounding the 4x All-Star and that should help him concentrate on dominating each and every night. This will be the season of Love. According to head coach Lue, Love “will have his best season yet.”
