Goal #4: Make over 3 threes per game

From two threes his rookie season to 144 last season, Kevin Love has continued to evolve as a deep threat. He has worked and excelled at shooting from the perimeter, and hopefully, it only gets better this upcoming season.

If he can hit three triples per game, not only would it immensely help the Cavs, but it would also put him in elite company. Only seven players averaged over three threes per game, and all of them were guards. At 2.8 per game, Ryan Anderson averaged the most threes of any forward. Love’s 2.4 was quite impressive though.

His percentage from deep could improve though. Love shot 37.3% from deep which, while respectable, has room to improve. Love knows his spot too. It’s the corner three. He shot 41.3% from the corner last season, and camping in the corner should work for him again this season. The star shot 35.5% from his triples from the corner.
