Bold Prediction #3: Kevin Love will be on an All-NBA team

I know that Kevin Love was an All-Star last season, but he has a level that far exceeds even that. Last season was his best as a Cavalier. He averaged 19.0 points per game and 11.1 rebounds per game. That’s still not the numbers that the Kevin Love in Minnesota put up. That Kevin Love could return this season, and it would make the Cavs more lethal than ever.

More from King James Gospel

With the exodus of Kyrie Irving, it is time for Kevin Love to step up. If Kevin Love becomes the second option on this team, he could easily average 22+ points per game along with those 11+ rebounds per game. That is the Kevin Love I want back. His last season in Minnesota, the 6-foot-10, UCLA product averaged 26.1 points and 12.6 rebounds per game. Not only did Love make the All-Star game in the Western Conference that season, but he also finished 11th in the MVP voting, only Love’s second season being ranked for that prominent NBA award.

This could be the season that Love breaks out or rather returns to his younger, more dominant self.

The bottom line:

If Kevin Love escalates his game this season, he will be an All-Star and possibly an All-NBA team member.
