The Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the hottest teams this offseason, and now, it’s time to prove it. Here are five bold predictions for this season.

After the blockbuster trade that sent Kyrie Irving to Boston, the Cleveland Cavaliers will have to re-group and figure their chemistry out. But, with the right combination of size, energy, shooting, and leadership, it should be no time before this experienced team figures it out.

The Cavaliers finished second in the Eastern Conference last season but in no way did that slow down their postseason dominance. They blazed through the Eastern Conference in just thirteen games before losing to the Golden State Warriors in five. Needless to say, the Cleveland Cavaliers will want revenge.

But, they first will have to figure out how to succeed with their current team. While on paper it might look easy, the actual court presents many more intriguing situations. How will IT’s defense hurt the Cavs? When will LeBron’s career minutes catch up with him? Can Frye and Shumpert play good minutes during the season? All these will need answers.

That said, each team and player should have goals entering each season. While our goals might be a bit out there, they are certainly doable for each Cavalier. So, it is time to take a deeper look into the bold predictions that we have for this team.
