The Cleveland Cavaliers can put together a couple of the most efficient lineups in the NBA, and here are their top five for this upcoming season.

After losing the NBA Finals in five games, the Cleveland Cavaliers will look to crown themselves NBA Champions once again this upcoming season. Led by LeBron James, the Cavaliers have dramatically shifted their roster with the blockbuster Kyrie Irving trade.

With Irving now in Boston and the additions of Jae Crowder, Isaiah Thomas, and Ante Zizic, head coach Tyronn Lue will have quite an array of options for each game. He can go with just shooters, a quick, small-ball lineup, or a bigger, more dominant lineup. But, to start the season, he won’t have one of his star weapons. Isaiah Thomas might be out for a significant period of time with his injured hip. But, when considering these lineups, Thomas will be included because, let’s be honest, the Cavaliers care most about the postseason, and he should be healthy by then.

The Cavaliers, last season, used their starting lineup of Irving, Smith, James, Love, and Thompson by far the most, but does that make the most effective? While Thompson is fantastic at crashing the offensive glass, his lacking offensive development might keep him off some of the Cavs’ most lethal lineups.

That said, let’s take a look at what lineups other teams should be most afraid of.
