3 different trades that could send Kyrie Irving to the New York Knicks

Trade #2: The Nuggets as the third team
Who was the last international point guard drafted as high as Ntiikina?
The Denver Nuggets own Emmanuel Mudiay, who was drafted No. 7 overall in the 2015 NBA Draft. Mudiay has not really panned out like the Nuggets planned. In both of his seasons, he has yet to shoot above 38% from the field, and he has a career average of 2.8 turnovers per game. All that to say, it is about time the Nuggets move on from Mudiay, and Ntilikina may be the answer.

With that said, the Nuggets would get Frank while sending away Chandler, who was unhappy with his inconsistent role last season, and Barton, who is a skilled two-way guard that rejuvenated his career in Denver. A future All-Star point guard would be worth a couple of quality role players. Barton and Chandler did combine for 29.4 points per game last season, and any trade involving them would create a gap in Denver’s offensive production.
The Knicks give up the same as the last trade, so the reasoning is the same. They acquire a top 5 point guard and a defensive mastermind. For them, it would certainly be worth it.
Cleveland might be the one withholding on this deal. At this point in all three of their careers, the Cavaliers would basically be getting three super role players. This could work alongside LeBron James, who is known for making the players around him better, but it would not be the preferred trade for Cleveland.
This is a trade that could happen closer to the trade deadline if Kyrie Irving continues his unhappy trend with the Cavaliers.
