It is official. Derrick Rose has signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In what has been a week full of drama and uncertainty for the Cleveland Cavaliers, the franchise received a bit of good news last night when news broke that Derrick Rose chose to sign with the team.

The all important question that is on most everyone’s mind at this point in time is can Rose stay healthy and help the Cavaliers?

While Rose is just 28-years-old, he has a long list of injuries that worry even the most loyal supporters.  Since winning the Most Valuable Player award in 2011, Rose has suffered a torn ACL, a torn meniscus in both his right and left knee.  Here is the link for every injury Rose has every been through.

Once regarded as the most athletic point guard in the NBA, Rose was on the fast track to becoming the next big thing until those severe knee injuries hampered his career.

Even those over the last few years Rose has spent more time on the sidelines than on the court. When he has been healthy, Rose still shows small glimpses of the player he was prior to his many setbacks.

In a relatively healthy year in New York last season, Rose averaged 18 points and 4.4 assists and played in 64 games.

Now, what does this mean for Cleveland?
