De’Aaron Fox, (possibly Kostas Koufos and others)

A deal centered on De’Aaron Fox gives the Cavs a John Wall remix that can be the face of the franchise when LeBron James as gone.

With Fox taking Irving’s place as Sir Lancelot, he’ll have growing pangs as James teaches him how to be a championship but without the bad habits of Irving in isolation, Fox is a player that should excel. Especially after he develops his jump shot, which is solid from the midrange.

As of right now, Fox is lightning quick and loves to attack the rim (great for Tyronn Lue’s offense) in both the halfcourt and open court. These tendencies, combined with Fox’s quickness and ball-handling, give him plenty of opportunities to drive-and-kick. In addition, Fox’s quickness on defense and fast hands give him the potential to be a terror on defense. That’s what’s most interesting about Fox as a prospect.

The Kings’ best chance to acquire Irving could come by trying to get in on a three-team trade with the New York Knicks (a trade scenario that would also be better for the Cavs, as they would likely acquire a proven veteran in Anthony). Giving the Knicks Justin Jackson, to compensate them for Anthony, could get the job done.
