The Four-Team Blockbuster

Would this be something crazy? Yes. While it may not happen, it does make sense from all angles.

The Suns can get some veterans and a younger point guard for Bledsoe. The Nuggets, from their point of view, are dealing quite a bit of talent out with Nelson, Mudiay, and Arthur. The Nuggets would also be sending a first round pick to the New York Knicks because they are looking for picks and prospects in order to deal Carmelo. But, for Denver, they get Kyrie Irving, a superstar talent so any type of talent given up should be just fine.

For the Knicks, they get Emmanuel Mudiay to backup their rookie point guard Frank Ntilikina for the upcoming season. Along with snagging some veteran presence and a future first round draft pick, we must remember the Knicks are only giving away Carmelo anyway. Mudiay could also most likely be dealt for another first round pick. Two first round picks for Melo is a great deal for New York.

As for the Cavaliers, they can get an incredibly underrated playmaker in Eric Bledsoe, and they get Carmelo Anthony. Anthony and Bledsoe would help create a big 4 for Cleveland. This would give them a dynamic lineup, especially against the Warriors.

There hasn’t been a blockbuster four-team trade in quite some time, but if the Cavaliers are up to deal Irving, the other could follow suit.
