A New Look: The perfect trade for Carmelo Anthony
Why the Knicks should do it
New York may actually be the team to decline this trade. They value Carmelo more than most teams, so acquiring just Vaughn, Teletovic, and Monroe might not be good enough.
With Joakim Noah in New York on that horrendous contract, Monroe and Teletovic would become super subs and most likely help lead New York to have one of the best benches in the NBA, although a good bench is not necessarily what they are aiming for. For New York to really be bought into this deal, someone might have to add in a draft pick.
As the season goes on, a trade invovling Carmelo Anthony will become increasingly inevitable. While this trade may not help the Knicks rebuild, it does give them nice role players to supplement Porzingis and give the NYK fans something to cheer for.

While this trade might work on paper and in my mind, there would have to be a crazy general manager to try and piece this deal together.
Tell us what you think. Do you think a three team trade involing Melo to Cleveland will eventually happen?
