Carmelo Anthony’s best chance at winning it all

If Carmelo Anthony has any plans to play anywhere besides Cleveland, he better think long and hard about it. The Cleveland Cavaliers provided his best chance at winning.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are Carmelo Anthony’s best chance of winning a NBA championship and, if there’s a choice the Anthony has to make between the Houston Rockets and Cavs, that should be the primary factor. Anthony is one of the best players to come in the league to have never won a NBA championship and he, along with Chris Paul, could be the best players to be ringless in the NBA (ten years of experience minimum).
With the Cavs needing to close the talent gap between them and the Warriors, and sign a player whose ability to score on offense is restricted to a specialty, Anthony should be high on the Cavs list to acquire.
Site expert Quenton Albertie provides an interesting comparison of Anthony and Love where, statistically, Anthony is a superior player to Love in nearly every facet of the game (including as a passer and defender). The Cavs would like to add Anthony without giving up Love but it may not be a bad idea to make the switch, if it comes down to it.
