The Wiz

Next up? I could realistically see the Washington Wizards.

They took a big step this past season in getting taking the C’s to seven games in the East Semi’s, and John Wall’s stardom is growing in the NBA landscape. Much of their success will be impacted by who bites on restricted free agent Otto Porter Jr., but we shall see.

Cavs fans and many NBA followers, in general, remember the meeting between these two back in February. That was a diaper dandy, and I’d expect Washington to not be an easy matchup with their dynamic backcourt of Wall and Beal putting pressure on the Cavs D.

Along with this, John Wall has been pushing the Washington management to attempt a trade for Paul George. If somehow this works, then a John Wall, Bradley Beal, Paul George, Markieff Morris, and Marcin Gortat lineup could easily be a challenge for the King and company.

The Wizards will be a dark horse team to watch for this offseason.
