Way #3: Houston will target stars

The Houston Rockets have already been busy. They have inquired about Paul George and Carmelo Anthony, AND they have offered up Ryan Anderson in trades.

While nothing is set, there is a high probability that the ownership of the Rockets will push to continue this trend. With Chris Paul now in Houston, stars who that have a good relationship with him will start wanting to go to Houston. Along with the stars wanting to be this superteam, the veterans will swarm to Houston as well.

The veterans, players like Michael Beasley, Jeff Green, Deron Williams, Kyle Korver, and others ring-chasing older vets, will be happy to settle for Houston over Cleveland. Without even acquiring any big stars, Houston could still fill their roster out with these types of veterans. This could also be a big blow for Cleveland who might chase those same vets this offseason.

Chris Paul, James Harden and another star in Houston could make yet another super team in the NBA. The lack of parity will grow while the interest in the regular season decreases. Oh well, this is the modern-day NBA, get used to it.
