#1: The King is home.

Number one was easy, LeBron James is by far the biggest signing of Griffin’s tenure or any GM in Cavaliers history for that matter. LeBron’s decision to return to The Land put the Cavaliers and the city back on the map.

In the 2013-14 season, the Cavs missed the playoffs for the fourth straight season, finishing with a 33-49 record. The very next year after signing LeBron, Cleveland won 53 games and made the franchise’s second NBA Finals appearance.

The very next year, LeBron led the Cavs to its first championship in franchise history and Cleveland’s first title in over 50 years. The 2016 title run is LeBron’s biggest accomplishment of his career, and what he did for the city of Cleveland will not be forgotten.
