Pick No. 17: Harry Giles

Giles might just be the best center in this draft, but his injuries have plagued his entire career. I fully expect them to plague his draft stock too.

Giles managed to find time in 26 games for the Duke Blue Devils, but he scored just 3.9 points per game and grabbed just 3.8 rebounds. His numbers at Duke were underwhelming, to say the least, but he has potential.

He has a nice 6-foot-10 frame. Giles was even on the preseason Wooden Award watch, so injuries aside, he has one of the draft’s highest ceilings. The problem is, if he injures his ACL for the third time, he might not be able to recover. Giles is definitely a risk at this pick, so Milwaukee might go elsewhere since they have had their fair share of injured players.

Giles would fit well on the Bucks, but any team might regret taking him.
