#6: Most Best-Of-Seven Series Sweeps
In the 2017 postseason, LeBron James passed Tim Duncan for the most best-of-seven series sweeps in NBA history with ten, ousting the Indiana Pacers in the first round.
In the next series against the Raptors, the Cavs dismantled Toronto in four games, giving James his eleventh sweep.
Also worth mentioning, LeBron has won 21 consecutive games in the first round of the playoffs, the most ever.
Not only has LeBron made it to seven consecutive Finals but he has dismantled teams in the East on his way. The Raptors made a move for Serge Ibaka during the season to anchor Toronto’s defense but it didn’t make much of a difference.
Thais because The King makes the biggest difference, as Kyle Lowry explained to The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
"They’ve got LeBron James,” Lowry told The Vertical late Friday night. “Nobody’s closing the gap on him. I mean, that’s it right there: They’ve got LeBron James and nobody’s closing the gap on him.”"
