#10: Most Consecutive Points Scored In A Playoff Game

This was a game for the ages.

In the 2006-07 NBA season, a 22-year-old LeBron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 50-32 record, good enough for second place in the East. The Cavaliers knocked off the Washington Wizards and New Jersey Nets in the first and second rounds.

The Cavaliers next challenge was the Detroit Pistons, a team that had eliminated them in the prior year and was one of the best defensive teams of the decade. The Pistons won their first two games at home, and the Cavs proceeded to grab two wins in Cleveland. The Cavaliers needed to win Game 5 in Detroit and then Game 6 back in Cleveland to avoid a hostile Game 7 in The Palace.

James revealed that he told his teammates to keep the game close until the fourth quarter and then he would do his best to bring Cleveland a victory, per Complex Sports.

"“I told my teammates, ‘Get me to the fourth and if it’s close, and I’ll try my best to win,'”"

That he did.

LeBron scored 29 of the Cavaliers last 30 points, including 25 consecutive points, to lead his team to a 109-107 win in double overtime. James was the only Cavalier to score a field goal in the last 18 minutes of the game and the only Cavalier to score at all in the final 13 minutes. He scored a layup with only two seconds remaining to ice the game for Cleveland.

To say that he tried his best to win would be an understatement.
