4: Carmelo Anthony

Yeah, I don’t really want him to be a Cavalier either.  But, he is a member of the banana boat, and nobody knows what a change of scenery could do to one of LeBron James’ best friends.

After all, we would be lucky to add Melo to the team; however, I worry we would have to give up more than we would gain in adding him to the roster.  He would provide relief for LeBron, similar to Gay and George’s proposed roles.  As one of the greatest scorers of our generation, I can’t say I wouldn’t give Melo a shot. Melo is a unique story, but James might be the man that turns him into a team-first ball player.

If the Cavaliers can get Melo without giving up Love, I would be down for it, but New York seems confident that they can get more for Melo than what he is worth. As the season nears, Melo might get antsy and request to play with one of his best friends, LeBron James.
