12: Chris Paul

Chris Paul, also a brother of the banana boat, could be an important offseason sign, as well.  Getting Paul could be exactly what we need.

Moving Kyrie to SG, Kyrie could focus on scoring and less of distributing.  Chris Paul is a threat from three and can create shots whenever he wants, for whomever he wants.  Landing Paul would be tough and would require some front office magic, as he is worth much more than the Cavaliers can offer; unless we think trading for Paul is worth it.

Paul has reportedly had “serious” interest in the Spurs, so maybe it is time for Chris Paul to go ring-chasing. If that is what CP3 is wanting, he should be able to take a cut and play in Cleveland. The Spurs have a tight cap just like Cleveland, and if CP3 asks either team to throw away all their pieces for him, then they wouldn’t be able to compete.

This is the time where CP3 caves and lets Cleveland pick him up for less than a max.
